Ready to start care at Structural Foundation Chiropractic? Here’s what to expect when you schedule your first appointment!
Once the new patient forms are complete, you will be given a quick tour of the office, to be sure you are comfortable with where everything is located and to meet our team.
During your consultation, we will discuss your health concerns, past traumas, health history and future goals. We will also discuss how the body works and what we can do in our practice to best serve you through our principled approach to Chiropractic care.
At this time, we will utilize a thermal device to get a true assessment of how your nervous system is functioning. This objective measurement will help us evaluate the location and severity of nerve interference in your body so we can get to the root cause of your health concerns.
Your team of doctors will advise you if additional tests are needed, such as X-Rays. X-Rays provide important information such as the position of the bones and how long the underlying cause has been there. X-Rays help the Doctors be as specific as possible with your health. To see is to know and to not see is to guess; we will not guess with your health!
IMPORTANT: pregnant patients and infants will not receive x-rays
After taking the necessary time to analyze your X-rays (if needed) and exam results, Gonstead doctors are ready to deliver your first specific spinal adjustment. The Gonstead system was designed to be as specific and precise as possible! Great care is taken to adjust only that which is needed with the most accuracy and finesse possible.
Lastly, we will schedule your second visit to discuss our findings regarding your condition and determine a course of care.
